* In a role model i look for modisty and leadership. Obama posses these characteristics.

7. According to the program: What proposal has the National Safety Council (NSC) made regarding cell phone use? What evidence has the organization offered to support the proposal?
* They proposed that it becomes a law that you cant use cell phones while driving. The evidence they gave was about 80 percent of the people they interviewed said they use cell phones while driving. And also 6 percent of accidents are caused by cell phone use.

8. How has the cell phone industry reacted to the Safety Council's proposal? What arguments has the industry made in response to the NSC?
* They of course dont agree with this. They say that cell phones can be used behind the wheel for a breif amount of time without it being a hazard.

9. Do you think that the Safety Council's proposal is a good idea? Why or why not?
* I dont think its a good idea because people need to keep in touch and if theres ever emergencys then you need to answer your phone. Also, some people can drive safely while on the phone so this law does not fit everyone.

Yes, I have used my cell phone while driving. Honestly it hasn’t been a distraction to me yet. I use one hand on the wheel while driving anyways. Some other distractions are reading books, eating, and drinking.
